What personal data do we collect?
Banyax may request personal data through the Banyax Quest configuration form. This information is necessary to identify users, understand their business and technological environment, and tailor the platform to their needs.
The personal data we may collect includes:
- Full name
- Company or institution name
- Contact email address
- Approximate number of employees
- Specific use cases for the system
- Active Directory tools used
- Endpoint protection solutions employed
- Firewall and/or VPN solutions used
- Email or SaaS applications implemented within the organization
Banyax does not collect sensitive personal data, such as information related to racial or ethnic origin, health status, genetic data, religious, philosophical, or moral beliefs, union membership, political opinions, or sexual preferences.
If “Other” options are selected, Banyax may request additional details regarding tools or solutions, which may involve further information about the organization’s technological infrastructure.
How do we obtain your personal data?
Your personal data is collected directly from you through the configuration form designed to enable access to and proper setup of the Banyax platform.
Banyax does not automatically collect personal data through cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies when completing this form.
What are the purposes of processing your personal data?
Your personal data will be used for the following primary purposes:
- To identify you as an authorized user
- To configure the platform according to your company’s technical characteristics
- To understand the technological environment where the platform will be implemented
- To provide technical support and follow-up
- To generate statistical or aggregated user analysis
Additionally, your personal data may be used for secondary purposes such as:
- Sending news, updates, or product information
- Sharing invitations to events
- Providing educational or informational cybersecurity content
These secondary purposes are not essential for service provision. You may opt out by selecting the following option:

How do we protect your personal data?
Banyax is committed to protecting your personal data through administrative, physical, and technical security measures in accordance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulations.
While Banyax implements reasonable and appropriate safeguards, it acknowledges that no system is entirely free from vulnerabilities. Therefore, we continuously work to mitigate risks and prevent unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or alteration of your data.
Your rights (ARCO rights)
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request cancellation when data is unnecessary or excessive
- Object to the processing of your data for specific purposes

Banyax will respond within 20 business days, and if applicable, implement the request within the following 15 business days, in accordance with applicable law.
How can you limit the use or disclosure of your data?
You may limit the use of your personal data for non-essential purposes by requesting to be added to our exclusion list.

You may revoke your consent at any time, provided that the processing is not necessary for essential service purposes.

Banyax will review your request and act accordingly within the legally established timeframes.
Transfer of personal data
Your personal data may be transferred, within or outside Mexico, when necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice.
Recipients may include:
- Technology service providers supporting Banyax infrastructure
- Implementation or customization partners
- External advisors for service improvement
- Competent authorities, when legally required
- Affiliates or related entities supporting system operations
All third parties are required to process your data under Banyax’s instructions and maintain confidentiality and security standards equivalent to those described herein.
Banyax will not share your personal data for commercial or advertising purposes without your express consent.
Changes to this Privacy Notice
Banyax reserves the right to modify this Privacy Notice at any time. Updates will be published on our website or notified via email.
This Privacy Notice is governed by applicable Mexican law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nuevo León.
Complaints and claims
If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).
